BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that on the 26th day of September 2023 at 9:00 AM, a public hearing will be held in the Commissioners’ Chambers, 203 S. Rainer Street, Waterville, WA 98858. At this hearing the County Engineer is directed to give his report and interested persons may attend the hearing at the Commissioners’ Chambers or provide written comments by visiting the Douglas County Board of Commissioners webpage.

Public Hearing: Resolution TLS 23-41A to Consider the Transfer of County Right-of-Way in Rimrock Meadows

WHEREAS, the Douglas County Transportation staff and the Rimrock Meadows Homeowners Association (RMHA) have been discussing the transfer of County rights-of-way to the RMHA that are located within the various Rimrock Meadows subdivisions; and
WHEREAS, both parties agreed that the rights-of-way within the RMHA should be dedicated to the Association for incorporation into the RMHA’s road network; and
WHEREAS, both parties also agreed the best way to move forward with the transfer of the rights-of-way is to deed them to the RMHA after a public notification process; and
WHEREAS, the rights-of-way proposed for transfer are described below and shown in Exhibit A (attached).
